Program

Quilts for Scrap Lovers

In this lecture and trunk show, you will learn the best use of scraps to make coordinated scrap quilts from real scraps. Too many times, scrap quilts are created from new pieces of fabric. As quilters we have an overabundance of scraps that are from many different projects with many different themes. We need to marry these scraps in some meaningful way. Enter my method—Quilts for Scrap Lovers and Demystifying the Color Wheel.

Learn how to use the color wheel to help you choose from your scrap bins. Learn to separate and organize your scraps no matter what print. This will refresh how you think in terms of color and scrap quilting.

Workshop

Blended Hexagons

Using a stripe fabric, Judy teaches a unique way of cutting squares to achieve the look of a hexagon.  No wedge ruler, no measuring angles – just squares!
