“For Love of Red & Green:  Applique Quilts of the 19th Century”

One of the most challenging and admired quilt styles of the 19th century is the beautiful red and green applique quilt.  They were often created as a showcase of a woman’s needle skills and the masterpiece of her work.  The years 1840 to 1870 marked the high point of this style.  We’ll explore these quilts with their stunning needlework.  Be prepared to be awed!
