Helen Frost is a familiar name to quilters, especially those who have been quilting for a long time! She is the author of several books focusing on strip piecing traditional designs, showing methods that were revolutionary at the time. She has continued to explore her favorite designs which include Sunshine & Shadow, Nine-Patch, and most of all, the Lone Star.

Helen teaches at guild and conferences throughout the country and will be teaching this fall at the International Quilt Festival in Houston, TX for the umpteenth time. She collects vintage and antique crib quilts and loves finding Mid-Century Modern sewing tools and accessories. She and her husband have called Tucson home since 1988 and are the parents of four grown children and four delightful grandchildren.
