Marci Baker is recognized internationally for her expertise in quilting, Marci enjoys sharing ideas that simplify the process of sewing and quilting. Her products and tools provide easy-to-follow solutions for common sewing and quilting problems. Most notably, she has developed strip-piecing techniques for tumbling blocks, six-pointed stars, and grandmother’s flower garden making them accessible to more quilters. In recent years, she collaborates with Sara Nephew writing books full of new and intriguing equilateral triangle designs. Her latest creations, The Ultimate Value Tool and her book, The Quilt Binding Bible, exhibit the extent of her knowledge base. Enthusiasm and inspiration can be seen throughout her lectures, workshops, and books. Marci and her husband, Clint, live in Fort Collins, CO, though she will travel wherever there are quilters.

Have you always admired 3-D designs and thought they were too complicated? Well, in this workshop you will learn that the magic is in how easy these blocks piece together. By selecting lights and darks as far apart as possible and then a medium halfway-ish in between, the blocks will stack up nicely without set-in seams! And if you have always wanted to make one for a special guy in your life, this is the perfect pattern. The guys really like the look of 3-D.
Plan on making one of each block just to try the technique or start this quilt in class with strip-piecing.
