2008 Quilt Show ChairsPlease read about the Betty Hayden Award and the Ed Seright Award. These are voted on each year at our show.
Map to downtown Tucson including the Tucson Convention Center. Please keep in mind that the I-10 has a number of its exit and entrance ramps closed at this time. There are signs to Congress Ave. from the freeway. The frontage road will lead to Congress Ave. from both east and westbound sides of the freeway. Coming from Phoenix, exit at Prince Road and follow the signs to Congress. Coming from El Paso, take the marked exit to Congress.
ParkingThere is a charge for parking in the lots. The cost is $4. There is some(very little) free parking on the street on the weekend and possibly Friday. I believe that cars can leave and re-enter the lot for no additonal charge on the same day. Check with the clerk upon entry. Lot B is closest to the entrance of the show which is on the west side of the Exhibition Hall. Lot C is also very close to the entrance. There is a ramp from parking lot C but no stairs. There is handicaped parking at the TCC. Parking in Lot B is right near the door and there are no stair problems with that entrance either. Enter the parking lot off Cushing Street or Granada Street. There are escalators and an elevator inside near the show entrance.
We have halls B&C. Tickets will be sold inside near our entrance doors next to the escalators.
Additional parking is available at La Placita Garage at 211 South Church for $5 or less. This is a bit further to walk to our show but still close. It is a brightly colored parking garage next to the Cathedral.
Motorhomes can park down at the Greyhound station on Congress. It's a short walk to the Convention Center.
