The Tucson Quilters Guild presents its 40th Annual Quilt Show, Quilt Fiesta!, February 22, 23, & 24, 2019 at the Tucson Convention Center (TCC) 260 S. Church St. Tucson, AZ. Quilts and other quilted items will be featured.
The three-day event will feature demonstrations,
vendors, Quilt Fiesta Academy, and the 2019 Raffle Quilt. We will be having a special Kids Row again
this year. All demonstrations and
speakers are free with admission to the
show.
Door prizes will be given out throughout the show. They are generously donated
to the show. All paid admissions get a drawing ticket. We will have Vintage Quilt Turning
again.
Bobbie Aug will once again be at Quilt Fiesta 2018 to do quilt appraisals. If you would like to have a modern quilt appraised that is hanging in the show, please print the two-page form, fill it out and (with your check made out to Bobbie Aug) and give it to Reilly Zoda. Here is the form for appraising antique quilts. Doing this before the show starts will make it easier for Bobbie to know which quilts in the show (and how many) will need to be appraised. She will also take walk in appraisals.
No food or beverages allowed on the show
floor. Food and drinks are available for purchase.
Wheelchairs, walkers
and strollers are allowed. Children are welcome and free under age 14. Rolling
shopping carts are not
allowed.
Certain quilt show positions are listed below for direct emailing.

Map to downtown Tucson including the Tucson Convention Center. Exit the I-10 at Congress/Broadway and turn east. Turn right on Granada, either turn into the second driveway on the left or curve around onto Cushing and drive into the Convention Center which will be on the left. Use lots B and C. Lot B is closest to the entrance. Can even park in lot A which is on Church Ave. The underpass under the freeway is open, it is south of Congress Ave and leads directly to the Tucson Convention Center.
Tucson has a new Modern Streetcar which has a stop at the Tucson Convention Center. It is the Granada Ave. at Cushing St. Station. It is at the corner of Cushing and Granada. From there, just walk across the parking lot to the entrance. It runs every 10 minutes on Friday and every 20 minutes on Saturday and Sunday. Here is informaiton on purchasing tickets or day passes. It's $1.50 for one way and $4 for a day pass. Consider parking for free in many lots on Saturday and Sunday at the University of Arizona and taking the Modern Streetcar to the show.
There is a charge for parking in the lots. The price is $10 and can change at any time. There is some(very little) free parking on the street on the weekend and possibly Friday. I believe that cars can leave and re-enter the lot for no additonal charge on the same day. Check with the clerk upon entry. Lot B is closest to the entrance of the show which is on the west side of the Exhibition Hall. Lot C is also very close to the entrance. Parking in Lot B is right near the door and there are no stair problems with either lot. There is handicaped parking at the TCC. Enter the parking lot off Cushing Street or Granada Street. There are escalators, stairs and an elevator inside near the show entrance.
We have halls B&C. Tickets will be sold inside near our entrance doors next to the escalators on the entry level.
is available at locations near the convention center and at La Placita Garage at 211 South Church for $5 or so. This is a bit further to walk to our show but still close. It is a brightly colored parking garage next to the Cathedral at 6th Ave.
