Please note, the Tucson Quilters Guild is not recommending any of these hotels. The listings below are for informational purposes only.

Need a hotel for your stay? Visit http://www.visittucson.org/ to search for information on local hotels. The closest hotel to the Tucson Convention Center is the The Hotel Arizona on Congress. The Riverpark Inn is a short-ten-minute walk under the freeway at 350 S. Freeway. Others aren't really within walking distance but are a short trip by car. Here are a few of the hotels in that part of Tucson. Besides The Hotel Arizona, try the Holiday Inn Express Tucson Hotel, Grant Rd., Super 8 Motel Grant Rd., Rodeway Inn, Grant Rd & I-10, Ramada Limited Tucson West, Days Inn Tucson, La Quinta Inn, Comfort Inn, I-10 & Starr Pass, and InnSuites Hotel Tucson City Center. The nearest RV park is Prince of Tucson RV Park.

This year we will again have DVDs that will be available to buy and take home from the show. Here is the flyer. The cost is $10 until the day before the show plus $3 shipping if required. They will be $12 at the show. We are also selling DVDs of previous shows for $10. Email for help with past DVDs. Payment for past DVDs needs to be made in advance.

Please read about the Betty Hayden Award and the Ed Seright Award. These are voted on each year at our show.

Map to downtown Tucson including the Tucson Convention Center. The freeway is completly open. The construction is finished. Exit the I-10 at Congress/Broadway and turn east. Turn south on Granada and drive to the Convention Center which will be on the left. Lots B and C. Lot B is closest.

Parking

There is a charge for parking in the lots. The price has been raised to $8(always subject to change). There is some(very little) free parking on the street on the weekend and possibly Friday. I believe that cars can leave and re-enter the lot for no additonal charge on the same day. Check with the clerk upon entry. Lot B is closest to the entrance of the show which is on the west side of the Exhibition Hall. Lot C is also very close to the entrance. There is a ramp from parking lot C but no stairs. Parking in Lot B is right near the door and there are no stair problems with that entrance either. There is handicaped parking at the TCC. Enter the parking lot off Cushing Street or Granada Street. There are escalators, stairs and an elevator inside near the show entrance.

We have halls B&C. Tickets will be sold inside near our entrance doors next to the escalators on the entry level.

Additional parking is available at locations near the convention center and at La Placita Garage at 211 South Church for $5 or so. This is a bit further to walk to our show but still close. It is a brightly colored parking garage next to the Cathedral at 6th Ave.

Wheelchairs, walkers and strollers are allowed. Children are welcome and free under age 14. Rolling shopping carts are not allowed.
No food or beverages allowed on the show floor. Food and drinks are available for purchase.
